CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS POLICY

Cancellations

If a reservation is canceled prior to 30 calendar days, there will be a penalty of 35 US dollars per person. This charge is for operational expenses.

If the cancellation of the reservation is made less than 72 hours prior to your travel, the penalty will be 100%.

Admission to Wayna Picchu, Machu Picchu, and Machu Picchu Mountain incurs a 100% penalty as these policies are unrelated to JBC Travel and are established by the Ministry of Culture of Peru.

In the case of canceling an Inca Trail tour, there will be no refund.

In the case of railway companies such as PeruRail and IncaRail, the penalty is 15%. These are specific policies of each respective railway company.

Finally, cancellations of lodging reservations are subject to the specific policies of each individual lodging establishment.

If you wish to change the date of the tourist service, it can be done without any penalty up to 30 days prior to the trip and/or service.

If you wish to make a date change for the visit to any archaeological site such as Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Mountain, or Wayna Picchu, there will be a penalty of 15 US dollars.

If you wish to make a change to your PeruRail or IncaRail train ticket, there will be a penalty of 5% of the original ticket amount

In the event of any external inconvenience such as a natural disaster, protest, strike, or emergency decrees that prevent the scheduled tour from taking place, a refund of 50% of the agreed amount will be provided.

 

Refunds

Money refunds will be processed through the same payment method used for the initial transaction.

If payment was made by credit card or bank transfer, the refund will be processed within the next 15 calendar days.

In the case of hotels, trains, or bus services, we must abide by the specific policies of each respective company mentioned.
